One Crazy Mother is edited by Bunmi Zalob, a woman who lives with her husband and child in California. She was born in Berkeley, has lived in Istanbul, is teaching herself French, and creates grassroots campaigns for businesses that care about moms.

Bunmi thinks of herself as a social commentator and doesn’t mind giving her opinion at all. Just ask! She has contributed to Entrepreneur magazine’s website for women, Clever Parents, Simply Home magazine, the Happy Housewives Club, and more. Business credits include INC magazine and ABC’s View From the Bay. She is the President of the North American Council of Entrepreneur moms: NACEM.org.

Hey, your name sounds familiar? Why?
That’s because I’m the only “Bunmi Zalob” in the world, plus I sold my popular social networking site last year.

Hey, why did you start this site?
Because I wanted to create a soft place to land for moms who aren’t obsessively preoccupied with diaper bags and Gymboree (which ruins kids btw).

Hey, you said a contest would start on a day it didn’t, I see a typo, and by the way….?
There will probably be lots of nice little errors and delays because I’m doing the most collectively important job in the world. So there.

1, she’s two.

Can you do a review of my product?
If it’s really interesting (ask a stranger), useful, and attractive, yes. If not, yes.

What are your pet peeves?
Bad marketing campaigns, the phrase “word of mom”, the word “innovative”, bears, balloons, ducks, slushies, people with unnecessary “y’s” in their names, bad restaurant bread, and dishonest product labeling.

What are your “likes”?
Frozen yogurt, amazing food, and my family (not in that order).
