Cleaning Green Challenge

Jun 6th, 2008 | By admin | Category: News

It’s no longer the dingo that’s threatening to eat your baby, it’s the millions of chemicals you are exposing your kid to everyday.

We all know that “green is in” but so is having a clean house and who has time to make an all-natural solution of vinegar and lemon juice everyday (unless it’s for drinks). One Crazy Mother is stepping up to help the millions of women who want to know what works and what doesn’t.

Introducing: The Cleaning Green Challenge

Our Mom Test Panel are going to give us the down and dirty on cleaning green. Over the next three weeks they’ll be trying products from method Home, Seventh Generation, and Clorox Green Works. Read their notes. A big bow to these three companies for agreeing to take part in the challenge and sending out tons of product!

The One Crazy Mother test panel will be using and abusing All Purpose Cleaner, Tub and Tile Cleaner, Toilet Bowl Cleaner (sucks, but someone has to do it), and Glass Cleaner from all three companies. Each week, a different company’s products will be used and graded.

We have winners!

Best Scent: method Home and Clorox Green Works
Most Likely to Succeed: Seventh Generation and method Home
Best Dressed: method Home
Gentlest Formula: Seventh Generation
Most Committed to Being Green: Seventh Generation/method Home
Easiest to Use: Seventh Generation and Clorox Green Works

Congratulations to our three Cleaning Green Challenge participants! We’re so glad that we got to try all of these fabulous products and congratulate Seventh Generation, Clorox Green Works, and method Home for being on the eco-friendly path.
