You’ve probably noticed our sleek new design. I decided that One Crazy Mother needed an upgrade. The content will be the same: observations, contests, complaints, etc.

If you haven’t read the my critique of Suave’s attempt to get mom’s on the “Say Yes to Beautiful” bandwagon, do so post haste. Also, I decided that in order for this to be a proper website, it must have book reviews. You’ll love my in-depth review of the popular children’s book Big Red Barn. I shouldn’t say love, that really depends on how you feel about the book.

There are two interesting interactive portions of the website: OCM test moms are embarking on a Cleaning Green Challenge and putting Seventh Generation, method Home, and Clorox Green Works products under the microscope. Winners for a slew of different categories will be announced in three weeks.

If you’ve ever been tempted by one of those DIY bedroom murals for children…well Emily, one of our OCM test moms is trying out a quite complicated (sorry Em!) wall mural from the company Elephants on the Wall. Not being artistically inclined, I am finding her progress fascinating.
